STEDEK ENTERS 2021 IN STYLE WITH TIMBERWELD® LICENCE

With quality at the core of their ethos, Stedek Windows & Doors has started 2021 in style having recently invested in new equipment in order to manufacture some beautiful flush sash windows for their installation partners.

Impressed with the finished appearance and quality of the Timberweld joint, Stedek plan to fabricate all its flush window and door sash products with the new technology, bringing significant benefits to the installer network whilst maintaining that all important “timber “effect joint required for use in conservation areas.

Stedek are the latest fabricator to extend their product range with a Timberweld license and Richard Hammond, Sales Director says “The Timberweld® patented method of jointing is the only welded solution that creates a perfect butt-joint effect both outside and inside the window. This unique flush sash welded system provides a truly authentic traditional timber look that improves technical performance, improves dimensional accuracy and is also cost-effective to manufacture at scale.

“We decided that a new method of corner construction was needed to create the perfect balance between aesthetics and technology. A method that would ensure the edges could be completely sealed, whilst presenting the appearance of a traditional butt joint that customers associate with wooden window frames.”
